We started the morning by exploring the fishing dock area, watching the different boats coming in and out. It was fairly busy as Geraldton has a successful working harbour.
As docking space is limited, many of the boats are taken in and out of the water by this boat hoist.
We had lunch overlooking the ocean and we guess that there must be some strong winds in this area judging by this tree.
As we were driving down the main road hundreds of these sulphur crested cockatoos were disturbed from the trees that lined the middle of the road.
Much of the later afternoon was spent at the local dentist's surgery where Alan had to had to get a broken tooth fixed.
Afterwards we drove to the beach and relaxed reading and watching the waves.
