Sunday 18th March

Our journey to Sydney took us through The Blue Mountains National Park. We stopped at Blackheath to see the amazing scenery at Grose Valley.

We travelled on to Katoomba to see more spectacular views as we followed the Cliff Drive for several kilometers.

This is the iconic view of this area. The rocks are known as The Three Sisters.

As we walked to one of the viewing points this beautiful butterfly settled just near to where we were standing.

On our return to The Shangri La Hotel in Sydney we were given a room on the 20th floor which gave an even better view of the harbour and the Opera House.

This evening, after dinner, we strolled to the quayside and enjoyed all the sights lit up and a firework display at one side of the Opera House.

We have travelled 3140 kilometers since leaving Adelaide.
