Tuesday 2nd October
As we passed the cranberry bogs again this morning we saw the machine in action that agitates the berries.
We stopped at Port Orford which has one of only six "dolly" ports in the world. It is an open water port, meaning that it has no natural harbour, and so all boats are "parked" on the quayside and have to be hoisted daily in and out of the water.
We stopped at Arch Rock viewpoint and saw this stunning view looking north up the coastline.
Further along the trail we captured this view looking south.
Framed between the trees is Arch Rock itself.
We are presently in Brookings and have this striking view of the ocean and driftwood beach from our balcony.
