We are now in Chicago having spent three days on the train getting here from San Francisco.

Train Day 3;

Most of today was spent passing through Iowa and the flatter parts of Illinois which are both farming areas.


As we entered Chicago we saw the Sears Tower that dominates the skyline.


At Union Station we picked up a taxi to our hotel and this is what we saw on the way.

This is a view from a high level in the hotel taken before we were allocated our room.

We are staying at Hotel 71 for the rest of our holiday and this is the view from our window.

We really enjoyed our train journey as it is a very relaxing way to see the country and meet lots of interesting people with many different views about America.
