At the end of a narrow road meandering down to the coast, we came to Georgios, a small harbour with beautifully clear blue water.

 

We drove back and continued our journey up into the mountains, passing some stunning views on the way.

 

 This is an area of wine production and we saw quite a number of small vineyards.

We had an afternoon tea in Polis and just off the square we were able to explore what seemed to be a tiny plain church with a barrel roof. Inside it was beautifully ornate

 

Further on we visited Aphrodite's Bath where, according to the legend, Aphrodite bathed in the clear water of the grotto.
