We enjoyed an outing with the U3A walking group, starting and finishing in Aberford. The first part of the walk took us through Hazel Wood where the bluebells were at their best.



We stopped for lunch at Lead Church, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book.

On the return section we followed this stream for some distance. The route was just short of eight miles in length.
