Monday 7th May
We drove to Sawley near Fountains Abbey to explore a circular walk that we hadn't tried before. Half way along the walk we passed these rocks by the side of a small lake.
Further on we came to Eavestone Lake which was created by the monks at the abbey for fishing.
It is a beautiful spot with huge rocks of many interesting shapes lining the path.
This lovely little stone arch bridge crosses the outlet from the lake.
