A lovely drive east from York through the Yorkshire Wolds to the coast at Bridlington. We enjoyed a couple of hours walking along the promenade and North Beach. The sea looked very dark and full of sand.
The strange lush shoots of these plants were thriving in the wetter parts of the hillsides. We have not been able to identify them yet.
The white stones that are being worn out of the cliff were a bright contrast.
