We decided to drive up Sutton Bank and walk along to the White Horse.

The path took us past the Yorkshire Gliding Club and there were several gliders taking off, landing and in the air. The wind was quite strong at times but the sky was clear.

The view from the top of the bank cleared as we walked and we could see for miles.

We reached our destination and walked down the steps to the foot of the horse.
