We travelled to North Greenwich on the tube which brought us directly to the O2 Arena, formerly known as the Millennium Dome. It was much bigger than we had appreciated.
The main reason for our visit was to see the Titanic Exhibition which features a wide range of artefacts found on the wreck site as well as mock ups of some areas of the ship. There was also lots of information about the ship, the voyage and about individual passengers. http://www.titaniclondon.co.uk/
We caught the boat from Greenwich Pier just as the sun was about to set and enjoyed a journey up to Westminster.
There was a great view from Westminster Bridge back down the Thames.
We then travelled to Knightsbridge to see the Christmas windows in Harrods and to shop in the food hall there.
