Saturday 30th August

We have never visited Plumpton Rocks even though we live only a couple of miles away. Today we decided that it was time to explore and spent a pleasant hour walking around the lake.

 



Tuesday 22nd July
We had a very pleasant afternoon out at Scampston Hall and walled garden near Malton.



Thursday 17th July
This evening we went to Harlow Carr for an RHS members only jazz evening. It was very pleasant sitting in the sunshine and listening to the music.



Monday 14th July
We visited Newby Hall quite late in the day and didn't really explore it fully. We joined the Historic Houses Association here so we can return at any time.



Tuesday 8th July
Byland Abbey is a place that we had not visited before and we were impressed by how extensive and complete it is.



Thursday 3rd July
This is the one of the Chelsea Gardens and below it is the Alhambra Garden both in Roundhay Park. It is one of our favourite places to visit when the weather is good.



Wednesday 18th June
Today we enjoyed the hot weather and the gardens at Harlow Carr.
