Thursday 19th March
At low tide the remains of the ramps where ships were once launched can be seen near our apartment.
At 10am the old part of town was still very quiet.
Low tide and low cloud at the mouth of the harbour.
The streets may be narrow but the bin lorry is still driven along here though it did look as if it was a narrower vehicle than the usual ones.
Outside the harbour wall the exposed sheets of rock and the pools made for interesting walking.
In the afternoon sun people were painting some of the larger boats and one is being hauled out of the water onto the trailer before joining the line up for maintenance work.
High tide found us back at the harbour mouth with just a distant haze limiting the blue sky.
